This is a private tour for guests who prefer to relax more and walk less. The driver and guide will pick you up from any point (harbour or terminal) and return you to the original pick-up point. You will be driven to the most culturally interesting parts of Tallinn, including the Old Town, where you can enjoy views of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the Parliament Building. With the help of your guide, you will learn how the Estonian political system works. Discover the story of the medieval city wall and the Ghost Tower in the Upper Town. Take photos on the famous Long Leg and Short Leg streets and visit viewing platforms with fantastic views over the Lower Town. If your group has fewer than 12 people, you will be driven through the Old Town by minibus and brought close to the main sights. For groups larger than 12 people, you will be brought to the Old Town and continue on foot. Continue to the Lower Town to see Town Hall Square, the oldest pharmacy in Northern Europe, the Great Guild House, St. Catherine’s Passage, and Viru Gate. The tour then goes beyond the city center to Kadriorg Park, famous for its flowers, and introduces the influence of Peter the Great and the history of Kadriorg Palace (exterior only). Next, visit the Song Festival Grounds — a powerful symbol of Estonia’s independence — followed by a seaside drive with a stop at Pirita St. Bridget’s Monastery ruins and a coastal viewpoint with one of the best panoramas of Tallinn. Finally, explore the Lasnamäe district to learn about local life, the Soviet era, and how housing was allocated after independence.
